SNAP AND WIC MATCHING PROGRAM

The Petworth Community Market is currently partnering with FreshFarm to provide food access funds to our customers. 

When using SNAP/EBT:

  1. Go to the Market Info Tent and tell the staff you want to spend your SNAP/EBT.

  2. Hand your SNAP/EBT card to staff or enter your card number and select the amount you’d like to spend, using your PIN.

  3. Receive a QR code that links to your SNAP/EBT dollars and a dollar-for-dollar match of white FreshMatch coupons up to $30 of your total purchase.

  4. Shop for eligible foods with your SNAP/EBT and FreshMatch coupons.

When using FMNP WIC/SENIOR:

  1. Spend your FMNP checks or electronic benefits with eligible farmers. Get a receipt for your purchase.

  2. Take your receipt to the Market Info Tent.

  3. Exchange the receipt at the Info Tent for a QR code that links to your matching dollars. We will be matching $10 per person from May 4 - August 26 and $15 per person starting September 2nd.
