Thank you for your interest in selling at the 2024 season of the Petworth Community Market! Participation in our market is only for regional farmers/producers who sell what they grow, raise or produce on their own farm or facility from the Chesapeake Bay watershed region. We prioritize value-added and prepared food producers who use local farm ingredients. We also welcome local artisans with non-food offerings such as crafts.
This year, we have changed our fee structure. Instead of a flat fee, all participating vendors will report sales and pay 4% of total gross sales as their monthly payment. Instead of charging vendors based on their size, this fee includes a 10x10 spot at the market, and for vendors requiring more space pay $250 per additional 10x10 tent space. After completing the form, a PCM representative will reach out to you regarding the next steps. All vendors must be approved by the PCM board. Please note that PCM may pilot data collection tools to participate in grant programs that would provide matching funds for our WIC and SNAP clients. Vendors will be informed in a timely manner if these tools are put into place and will be given an opportunity to opt-out.
